The Franciscan Padres brought the almond to California
in the mid 1700's. However the moist, cool weather
didn't provide the optimum growing conditions. It
wasn't until the late 1870s that Successful
cross-breeding and research inland provided the
almonds we know today. At Alabu we've taken the
delightful, spicy aroma-filled almond essential oil
and added it to our fantastic all-natural soap. This
wonderful fragrant skin-moisturizing lather is sure to
soothe and relax you. Our almond essential oil comes
from real California-grown almonds!

BABY ME ULTRA MOISTURIZING

Baby Me is our best selling soap. It was originally
formulated as a baby soap, but quickly became popular
with everyone who has very dry skin. It's an extra
special handmade soap for anyone with extra sensitive
skin. One of the key differences from our original
unscented formula is the addition of ultra-moisturizing
unrefined shea nut butter. It also has more oil olive
than our regular formula, making it extraordinarily
mild!

LAVENDER DELIGHT MOISTURIZING

One of our more popular naturally scented soaps.
Lavender Delight is a soothing and relaxing blend of
lavender, ylang ylang, and a touch of sweet orange
essential oils. Lavender essential oil aids sleep and
relaxation. Try it out in a bath or shower before
taking a nap or going to bed!

OAT & HONEY SOOTHING AND MOISURIZING

This soap is great for sensitive or itchy skin. It's our
original formula with honey & finely ground oats (called
colloidal oatmeal) added for extra emollients for your
skin. One nice thing about colloidal oatmeal is that it
exfoliates gently enough to be used on your face.

Our Tea Tree soap is a unique formula of
ultra-moisturizing oils, with the added benefits of
Tea Tree & Lavender essential oils. Both Tea Tree &
Lavender are great for your skin, and are used in
aromatherapy extensively to soothe and relax the mind.
Tea Tree essential oils is slightly drying, so we
developed a really moisturizing formula to put it in.
The result is a soap that works amazingly well for
most skin types, including combination skin and oily
skin.

Most olive oil soaps have a pretty weak lather. We've
taken our classic top-quality goat milk and cultured
it into buttermilk first. The result is a olive oil
soap that has an excellent lather and cleaning

Formulated to be extremely moisturizing and gentle.
This extra special soap is ideal for everyone who has
very dry skin or sensitive skin. This soap also has
special meaning for Alabu. They named it in honor of
their dear friend Rich that passed away on February
28, 2005 at the age of 46. He is survived by his wife
and 3 boys (7, 10 & 12). Alabu is making a donation
for each bar sold to a trust fund set up to help
provide care and education for the boys.

BUTTERMILK MOISTURIZING

Our Buttermilk soap is pretty much the same as our
Original Moisturizing Soap, but with one twist. We've
taken our normal farm-fresh pasteurized goat milk and
cultured it into goat buttermilk. The result is a bar
with an even creamier lather, and the added acidity
from buttermilk makes it a good choice for combination
skin.

just had to make one. It's made from an uplifting
blend of Lemon, Sweet Orange, Grapefruit, Litsea, and
Ylang essential oils. It offers all the same great
