Cosmetics & Skincare: We are delighted to
update our Living Nature customers about changes to Living Nature's skincare.
Here is the details from Living Nature themselves:
"Our research and development team have recently made some exciting changes to
many of our skincare formulations, resulting in improved fragrance, product
quality and skin feel. All Living Nature products are 100% natural. Living
Nature has harnessed the power of New Zealand’s unique native flora to create
our range of hero ingredients. The preservative system used by Living Nature
is a synergistic blend of these unique plant extracts, which demonstrate
strong anti-microbial and antioxidant properties, and varies from product to
product. The preservation system is assisted by the stringent hygiene
protocols of the environment where they are formulated and packaged, together
with the unique packaging that protects the products from external
contamination. Living Nature does not use any synthetic preservatives like
parabens, phenoxyethanol, ethelhexyglycerin, hydroxymethylglycinate,
iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, methylchloroisothiazolinone,
methylisothiazolinone, alcohol, Unigerm or Suttocide. Ethanol is not used in
the extraction of any Living Nature ingredients. Our beautiful new skincare
fragrances are 100% natural. They are crafted especially for Living Nature by
an expert fragrance blender and derived from natural essential oils. On pack,
these are labelled according to INCI guidelines as: ‘parfum (fragrance)*,
*from natural essential oils’. Listing every individual essential oil
component is impractical due to space restrictions – for example, one
individual fragrance may be a blend of 50 – 100 individual essential oils.

problems in a way that inspires the human spirit. New Zealand is very isolated
and there are many areas that have never been sprayed or contaminated with
pollutants. Many of the plants are unusual and have evolved differently to other
countries which have prolific mammals. The majority of their skincare products
are derived from New Zealand plants. As the raw material industry in New Zealand
grows, they will be expanding this. The issues that are important for New
Zealand is to focus on how precious this land really is, and to protect its
shores as a unique place on the planet. Their factory is based on several acres
along with a retail shop and clinics. Their plants are all grown away from their
premises on land far away from any roads. They are working with various groups
to grow more plants and much of their time is spent trying to convince their
government to protect their unique position in NZ by promoting an organic and
GE-free environment. Living Nature has achieved a natural preservative
base that prevents moulds and fungi from forming.

A gentle cleanser that helps dissolve stubborn eye
makeup. Take a small amount on a cotton ball and rub
gently over the surface of the lash and eyelid. Leaves
skin and lashes soft and conditioned. Made in New
Zealand like the other Living Nature items.
