ABOUT MARTINA GEBHARDT
For more than fifteen years the self-taught
Martina Gebhardt produces and commercializes natural cosmetics under her own
name. Throughout all these years the House Gebhardt not only maintained
faithfully its valuable recipes, but also kept the company's philosophy:
products derived from dead animals or raw materials for which animals had to be
killed are absolutely taboo; animal testing is rejected as well: no synthetic or
imitation of raw materials are used; no artificial colors or scents; no
preservatives; no emulsifiers; no artificial light protection filters; no
paraffin and no surfactants. One may wonder: what ingredients do these natural
cosmetics contain at all? It's very simple: they consist of 100% natural
components from controlled biological farms or following the strict
Demeter-regulations. Producing according to rhythmic, bio-dynamical rules and
the corresponding combination of raw materials guarantees a minimum shelf life
of the finished product of one and a half years. They use spagyric essences from
their own production. They package in environmentally sensible glass containers
without cardboard boxes, no aluminum or plastic. The basis of these care
products is beeswax and wool wax, combined with high quality oils, herb extracts
and essential oils. The product spectrum is composed of various articles such as
creams, milks, facial lotions and high quality oils for all different skin
types. In principle Martina Gebhardt Natural Cosmetics abstains from animal
testing and from product contents for which animals have to suffer or be killed.
The company is a member of the International Manufacturers against Animal
Testing in the Cosmetic Industry (IHTK). Items include 4 skincare systems, eye
cream, lip balm, body lotions, mens aftershave and shaving cream, infant oils..

PRODUCTS
Shea Butter Line
Formerly known as"Sensina"
which means: without
allergy-causing substances, it means pure, free of
allergens....it means neutral. "Sensina" means, in
practical terms, that the creams and cleanser in this
series of skin care products contain no essential oils,
no alcohol, no herbal extracts or bee products. They
also do not contain any preservatives, synthetic
substances or perfumes.... they are totally free of the
usual substances which could cause reactions in
allergy-prone individuals, for most. Rose water and
elder blossom water are produced "softly" through steam
distillation. Please don't confuse this as meaning
scentless; you will smell the floral waters. If you have
a problem with the light scent of rose, then you may not
want to try this selection. Rose has generally been
looked at as homeopathic, so the waters used in this
line do have a purpose. It is recommended, as all our
products are, to start with samples.

SHEA BUTTER SKIN CLEANSER

Removes makeup and
impurities gently leaving the face soft. Many use
it to remove eye makeup as well.
TO USE:
For a gentle cleansing of your skin, massage it in well.
When done, wash it off with warm water. The product
contains no pesticides, so it can be used for full body
care.

Sage Line
These products have a purifying effect, they regulate
skin fat production and the activity of the sebaceous
gland, plus improve the natural "protective acid shield"
of the skin related to its ph-value. It does not over
dry, or strip the skin from important hydration.
It has an herb scent.

exposed to the elements and pollutants, which take their
toll. Dry, cracked skin is a common problem, especially
in the winter months. Our Rose Cream is richer in
nourishing oils than our Rose Lotion. It helps replenish
the skin's depleted supply of natural oil while
protecting it from moisture loss. A wonderful day or
night moisturizer for dry, sensitive skin, or use in
combination with Rose Lotion when you need extra
moisture.
