PRIMITIVE
Primitive
Makeup Inc. was created by two women from Woodstock, New York, who had a desire
to create lip color that was pure and beautiful. Nancy Caigan, as founding
partner had the vision, researched the formula, secured their resources and
found their brilliant chemist, George. Susanna Ronner added her graphic design
talent and creative eye in the development of the lip color palette, as well as
the design of the logo, packaging, and all visual material. Together, the two of
them are friends, dancers, mothers, and committed business partners, dedicated
and enthused about creating Primitive.
They believe that beauty should not come at the expense of your health.
According to a report in Glamour magazine, the average woman consumes four to
nine pounds of lipstick in her lifetime! This supports their belief that what we
put on our lips be simple, pure ingredients formulated from nature itself.
Primitive was born from this awareness, with the hope and intention to
contribute to the well being and beauty of women everywhere.

NATURAL LIPSTICK
Moisturizing
These lipsticks are luscious and leave your lips feeling
moist and creamy! Primitive understood the challenge of
not working with artificial dyes and ingredients that
are not natural. They wanted to avoid the sticky feel in
most natural lipsticks. They did not want to sacrifice
quality or color however. A year or more went into
research to finally create these wonderful lip products.
You'll find the refreshing vanilla scent and taste much
better than the chemically fragranced lipsticks that are
most common on the market. Most of our staff loves the
feel and had to have it for themselves! The names of
their colors are inspired by the hues from around the
globe and to honor the expression and knowledge of other
cultures. Available in 8 choice colors that are sure to
please most. Comes in a black and white casing that is
the cutest.
No Nano Sized Minerals

Creamy
Creamy, organic ingredients in 5 colors from our
signature lipstick palette. Moist, creamy, lip pencils.
Not drying. All natural. No preservatives, additives or
artificial colors. Paraben-free. Made with organic
ingredients. Colors to match our moisturizing
lipsticks: Corsica, Martinique, Mali, Morocco, and
Belize.
No Ultramarine Blue or Ferric Ferricyanide used. No
peanut oil and is not made with anything that contains
peanuts. Carmine is from the coccus cacti or cochineal.
No Nano Particles.
